About
Rogue-Agent Defense is an AI agent firewall — a layer of protection that sits between autonomous AI agents and the damage they can cause when something goes wrong.
Why it exists
AI agents are moving from chatbots to actors: they read inboxes, book meetings, run code, and move money. Every one of those capabilities is a surface for attack. A single crafted message — a hidden instruction on a webpage the agent reads, a poisoned tool output — can turn a helpful agent into one that leaks data, spends budget, or follows an attacker's orders. This is called prompt injection, and it is listed as the number-one risk for LLM applications (OWASP LLM01). Rogue-Agent Defense was built to close that gap.
What it does
The service combines four defensive layers:
- Prompt-injection shield — scores inbound messages before the agent ever sees them; suspicious input is quarantined or blocked.
- Policy enforcement — per-action rules decide which tool calls execute automatically, which need human approval, and which are denied outright.
- Canary tripwires — planted secrets that no legitimate workflow should ever touch; if one fires, you know an agent has gone off-script.
- Kill switch — one click to halt an agent fleet when something looks wrong.
It connects over HTTPS and is designed for n8n-style agent workflows, but works with any agent that can call an API.
Who we are
Rogue-Agent Defense is built and maintained by Ingenious AI, an independent AI-security company based in Orange Walk Town, Belize. It is part of a suite of AI-security tools, each focused on one job and built to a professional standard — no demo-grade code, real defenses with real tests.
Principles
- Defense in depth: no single layer catches everything, so the product ships four.
- Humans in the loop: risky actions pause for approval instead of executing blindly.
- Honest security: scores are scores, not guarantees — and the terms say so plainly.
